Cartagena - Colombia {On the Road}

Happy 2013 to everybody, I hope everybody is as ready as I am to this amazing year!. To start the year today I will share my road trip to Cartagena; a great week enjoying one of the most amazing places I've ever been to.

What I love the most is that every corner of the walled city ( The downtown area builded about 200 years ago ) is the perfect scene of a great story, The colonial architecture gives that feeling of mystery and the colorful houses around the streets made of stones makes me feel that I went back in time. It's hard to describe the feeling of having a drink in the middle of and old plaza,with live music and warm weather, that feeling is something you wont find in any other place.

This pictures are just a small part of all the great things I saw there, I wish I could stay longer but of course great things happens in short periods, and if you have the chance to go one time, I bet you will have a great time!.

Feliz 2013 para todos, espero que estén tan listos como yo para este año tan genial que se viene. Para comenzar el año les voy a compartir mi viaje a Cartagena, fue una semana disfrutando una de las ciudades mas increíbles en las que he estado. 

Lo que mas amo de esta ciudad, es que en cada esquina (que fue construida hace mas de 200 años) es el lugar prefecto para una gran historia, la arquitectura colonial da una sensación de misterio,mientras que las coloridas casas alrededor de las calles empedradas me hacen sentir que vuelvo en el tiempo. Es muy difícil describir lo que se siente estar en medio de una de las plazas mientras ten tomas un trago y escuchando música en vivo, mientras que la brisa refresca el cálido clima, esta es una sensación que no se puede sentir en ningún otro lado 

Estas fotos son una pequeña parte de todo lo que recorrí esta semana, ojalá hubiera podido estar por mas tiempo pero claro, como todas las buenas cosas, siempre duran poco tiempo, y si alguna vez tienes la oportunidad de ir, puedo asegurarte que vas a pasar un tiempo increíble!

Out { Notes }

While I was out and away from here, I was laughing, eating and drinking till real late. While everybody were here I was out taking pictures, walking , running away from the sun, and once again laughing , I drove back and forth to the same place, I stood at the beauty of the sight, I froze (more that once). I bought some clothes , I spent savings (most of it in food and buses ) I went to Boston , I smiled, I ate organic , then I went for pizza (I had coupons) I saw the police looking for us by the shore of the river and drowning, or maybe it was just a can of coke left by accident. I fell in love, A little bit more, I celebrated it. I hugged her and of course laugh with her but then I had to say good bye, again… 

Mientras no estaba acá, estaba riendo, comiendo y tomando hasta el amanecer. Mientras todos estaban allí, yo estaba afuera tomando fotos, caminando, escondiendome del sol, riendome, otra vez, maneje tantas veces hacia el mismo lugar .Me deje llevar por la vista y me quede allí por un tiempo, me congele (mas de una vez) . Compre ropa , gaste mis ahorros (en comida y transporte) fui a Boston, sonreí, comí orgánico y después fui por pizza . Vi la policía perseguirnos por la orilla del rio, o de pronto era solo una lata de coca cola que votaron por accidente… Me enamore, un poquito mas, y lo celebre. La abrace y claro me reí con ella, pero después, al final tuve que decir adiós, otra vez….

Fair {Travel Journal}

My first experience in fair . Well not my first but the one that reminds me of a lot of summer experiences I had. Being lost in the crowd , in the lights and the smell. There was something that brought me a lot of feelings from when I was younger, I used spend my summer vacation back in Cali (Colombia), with my older cousins and my younger sister, we used to go to this fair called "la rueda" the same candy cotton smell, the same bright lights and the same fear to heights, and, no matter how scared , or how prone  to be sick I was, the huge ferris wheel was my must be, this time I went up and I saw the spectrum of lights shine melting with the fog, being in the top made me think that it is gonna be always the same feeling.

Next week in Colombia the 80% of the citizens go to warmer places to take some sun (holy week a week for resting and a lot of thinking, not much praying). Most of them are in the beach or in places with pools… So this week i'm going to be talking about vacation outfits. And my first pick were the swim suits , I picked those because each of one represents a different activity within it.. swimming, taking the sun or just having a nice day at the pool/beach
