The new cut:
This is a whole new way to see the body and to be conscious about the negative spaces. one of the first things that i learned when i started painting, I was being aware of the negative spaces,and how those spaces could be a major contribution to the composition . Then, when I started to do pattern making the idea was different, I had to be aware of the body itself without thinking about what its around.Now the mixture of negative and positive,and the "geometrization" of the body leaves a whole new world of options, now the new shapes are more that just long shoulders or ¾ sleeves. New designers bring this new idea of pattern making and amaze us with the concept. Very inspiring and amazing
El nuevo corte:
Esta es una nueva forma de ver el cuerpo y de estar conscientes de lo que nos rodea. Cuando aprendí a dibujar, debía percibir los espacios negativos y positivos de toda la composición, y como todos los espacios hacían gran contribución a la composición al final. Luego cuando empece a hacer patrones de ropa, la idea era diferente, tenia que estar consciente del cuerpo, sin fijarme los espacios que los rodeaba. Ahora esta mezcla de espacios positivos y negativos, y la "geometrizacion" del cuerpo deja un nuevo mundo lleno de opciones, ahora las nuevas siluetas son mas que hombros extendidos o mangas de ¾. Nuevos diseñadores traen estas nuevas ideas con patrones y nos deslumbran con el concepto. Muy inspirador.
